The presentation will share how planned giving approaches can streamline the fundraising process with a particular major gift donor. Separate case studies will challenge the attendees to discuss how planned giving techniques can more efficiently qualify donors' affinity and wealth. The discussion will continue on how to use planned giving topics to quickly identify hurdles that may prevent donors from making a major gift and then, use these topics to help clear these hurdles to enable the donors to complete impactful major gifts.

Hal Abrams, J.D., LL.M. left private practice in San Francisco, as an estate planning attorney to work in large planned giving offices at City of Hope, UC Berkeley and the University of Oregon. He then applied his background in planned giving to lead successful fundraising teams at Oregon Athletics, Lewis & Clark and Clark College.
