2021 WVDO Virtual Annual Conference: Philanthropy for the People!

This year’s educational focus will be on three main tracks: advocacy, responsive philanthropy, and nonprofit reform.

  • Advocacy - Focus on organizing nonprofit professionals to engage in advocacy at the local and state levels to push for more just policies that support nonprofits and workers.
  • Responsive Philanthropy - Focus on building power to push local foundations to be more responsive and equitable.
  • Nonprofit Reform - Focus on supporting nonprofits to implement changes to internal practices including fundraising, operations, and programs that are more in line with values of racial equity, accessibility, and justice.
