Crafting a winning grant proposal starts long before pen meets paper; it starts with strong program design at its core. In this training, participants will delve into essential strategies for crafting realistic, impactful, and fundable programs, projects, or initiatives. You’ll refine critical thinking abilities, learn to conduct preliminary landscape analyses, and zero in on key questions. You’ll also learn to evaluate whether an organization has the requisite capacity and resources to successfully implement a program and measure its impact.

About the Speaker:
With over two decades of fundraising experience, Christine Lauren is a development consultant specializing in complex proposal writing and strategic fund development. As a biracial professional and the daughter of an immigrant, she offers a unique perspective and a deep-rooted commitment to racial and economic justice. Since establishing her consultancy in 2008, she has secured over $76 million in grants for client organizations. Before her consultancy role, Christine served as the Director of Development and Marketing at the Unity Council and as the Director of Development and Communications for St. Vincent dePaul of Alameda County. She earned an MBA from San Francisco State University.
