Development Series: Small Event Fundraising

Small Event Fundraising

House parties, progressive dinners, garden parties… all of these smaller events are a great way to engage your donors to become ambassadors of your organization. If you are looking for an alternative for your larger events, or you want to start building a base of support in geographic regions outside of the town your organization is headquartered, starting with a house party could be the solution you are looking for.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn the basics in setting up and stewarding a house party with a host.
  • Go over a template of materials including checklists, timelines, sample scripts.
  • With remaining time, workshop with others to brainstorm other smaller and fun types of donor parties.
